Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers praised the two senior players the Reds, Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher, who played outstanding kala 2-2 draw against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday (3/2).

“As Steven Gerrard getting better as the season goes on. He scored a brilliant goal to goalkeeper Joe Hart from distance. Performance was also very unusual,” said Rodgers.
“The role of the senior players as they are very important to us. We have a lot of talented young players who need time to develop. During their conversation progressed, we also have senior players who perform well consistently,” said Rodgers.
