Manuel Neuer is still the number one goalkeeper of the national team of Germany. But the position considered less secure because Germany has a great goalie who is ready to shift its position.
In addition to goalkeeper Rene Adler who became principal when Germany beat France in the test match a few days ago, chances Borussia Monchengladbach goalkeeper Marc–Andre ter Stegen rated the same magnitude.
It was said the former Swiss national team goalkeeper, Jorg Stiel who also played for Gladbach. He believes Stegen is the future of Germany goalkeeper.
“Marc and the quality is better than Manuel Neuer. He just lost the experience of Neuer and Adler, but he had a bright future and will be number one in Germany in the next few years,” said Stiel on Spox.
“He just needs experience at the top level in two or three years. I’ve also heard several top European clubs like Barca, Madrid and Liverpool are after him. I think he‘s ready to play at the top level and seek new challenges outside of Germany.“
