Liverpool striker, Daniel Sturridge, certain to pass the friendly counter Brazil at Wembley on Wednesday (6/2). Sturridge had dropped from the England squad due to a thigh injury.
Daniel Sturridge reportedly been joined by another British squad who are preparing against the Samba Team. However, he could not take part in a pembinaan session on Monday (4/2) due to a thigh problem that immediately returned to Liverpool to undergo further tests.
Sturridge injury acquired after scoring in the first half when Liverpool’s 2-2 draw against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday (3/2). He was still able to continue the match before being substituted just before the game ended.
Without Sturridge, manager Roy Hodgson now has only two fit strikers, the duo Manchester United, Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck. Because Tottenham Hotspur striker, Jermain Defoe, also have dropped because of an ankle injury. Hodgson probably will play Arsenal, Theo Walcott, as the spearhead.
United midfielder Michael Carrick, was also ruled out due to a hip injury. According to Sky Sports, there are only 12 players from the England squad a normal practice in the inaugural session, while the rest is just warming up.
